Worth every penny. on tire and wheel tools

Excellent material. I've been putting motorcycle tires on my bikes for many years. I used whatever I had or bought and tried to help with tire removal and installation. I've tried many lubes and solutions over the years and I love these. I just put new tires on my GSA with little to no fuss. Usually it's a fight and afterwards I feel like I'm in a price war. I like that it's a hard paste so it stays on the rim and tire. It's a bit difficult to apply (doesn't like sticking to the brush) but less

  • Excellent overall performance

The only way to change tires

Tire lubricant is an essential ingredient when working with car tires and rims. To remove an old tire, you must soften the rubber with heat and lubricate the rim, even if the tire is worn. New tires are much stiffer and therefore require a lot more heat and lubrication. If you look on YouTube you will see various lubrication recommendations including soapy water, Windex and even WD40. BeadBuster tire mounting paste outperforms all other options. It is a strong petroleum jelly gel, similar in…

Works great and a little goes a long way!

The thing works great! Incredibly complex tires became easy to assemble. It is like a gel, so when using it without water it is best to apply it with a rubber glove. Some of the negative reviews sound like they don't know what the lube is for and/or use it too much. Two or three shots around the ball are enough. Can also be used with an aqueous mix as others have mentioned. I've read posts and watched YouTube videos to learn just about every tire fitting "trick". Tried Windex, dish soap, large…

It works, but no better than soap

I bought this because I was putting new tires on rims I had just painted and wanted to take every precaution not to scratch them to avoid. My tire changer sometimes leaves marks on aluminum rims and I was hoping this material would help 'lube' the wheel to remove scratches. It's an odd consistency and a little difficult to apply. Once you put it on the tire it works fine, but I really don't think it was worth the extra effort compared to good old morning dish soap and water. I thought it would…

As a shade tree mechanic, I like it.

In the last 50 years of accidentally removing and installing tires as a shade tree mechanic I've used next to nothing, water, dish soap and WD40. I recently bought a BeadBuster tool and decided to try their lube. What difference does this lube make compared to some things I've used before? I placed a handful at the bottom of the cup and filled the cup with tap water. The next morning the fat was completely dissolved in the water, no mixing required. I put the mixture in a spray bottle and use…

Pros
  • Rust Preventative

  • Slightly wrinkled

Product OK but not as good as Murphy Oil Soap

I read the reviews and believed the hype that this product would make changing tires easier. it was NOT a game changer as others have claimed. I grew up on a farm and my dad taught me how to use Murphy Oil Soap as a lubricant when changing tires. Just put it on a rag, wipe the bead/rim clean and then the tire will be much easier to mount (and remove). I thought this product would be better but it is not. I've tried both gel form and the recommended mixing method in an aerosol can, neither were…

Excellent goods. in Tire repair tools

I was really hesitant to buy it. For the price, it's quite expensive for the perceived amount you're getting. I change the tires on my Harley touring bike by hand. I just changed a rear tire and use Windex soap to put tires on. I really struggled with that. So I decided to try this beadbuster lube. I also bought a tire wiper. Then I swapped the front wheel (same size as the rear wheel but they are different frames as the rear wheel takes more load). I dampened a swab with water and ran it over…
