Replacement of magnet for mailbox door that eventually collapsed (seems) due to temperature changes. I wish I could find this in black or dark brown but it's a mailbox so white was fine. Easy to install in the original magnetic mount. You have to glue the other half to the door, but it was too cold for the glue; However, the magnet can attract the metal of the door enough to keep it closed. Much easier to buy cheaper than a new mailbox!

I ordered 2 sets from another seller - each had "5 pieces". I only received 1 set of 5 "pieces" - 1 magnet, 1 back plate, 3 screws. I sent back because I wanted 10 sets, not 10 pieces. I ordered from MPJ, received 10 sets individually boxed, so I'm very glad I spent $20 for 10 sets of locking magnets for the second time instead of $10 for 1 set of locking magnets. This is what one of my previous owners installed with planter latches to keep them closed and they did a good job. Unfortunately, I live in suburban Phoenix, Arizona, where the sun shines brightly and it gets very hot in the summer. The heat turned the white plastic into powder. I don't know how many years it took, probably a lot. I replaced them all with stainless ones and they should last longer than me.
