Great upgrade for Asus X53E/K53E laptop

I think this wireless/bluetooth adapter is a great replacement for the original Qualcom Atheros AR9485 2GHz 1x1 that came with the laptop. Very easy to install, just make sure to match the two original antenna cables properly. Notice how the Main and Aux are connected to the original card. The new card required the primary and secondary antenna wires to be reversed from the original card configuration. Before disassembling, I took a picture with my phone for reference. Once the card was…

    Great card when installed properly

This is for the Intel WiFi Bluetooth card. I installed on an older HP Pavilion G6. After installing the map and downloading it, the WiFi worked flawlessly. This gave me the ability to connect to a 5GHz network that I had never had before. Download speed over 200mb. Brilliant! However, without Bluetooth. I have researched and tried all the solutions. I closed pins 51 and 20. I did everything but still no bluetooth. I downloaded the latest driver from the Intel website and then saw it. There are…

Big speed boost. Just make sure you install the correct driver first.

This was purchased for a 2010 Dell Inspiron 1749 that originally came with a Centrino-N adapter. Installation was very easy. There are several videos on Youtube showing the installation on this series of laptops. Six screws to loosen the cover, one screw to loosen the old adapter, and two antenna wires to pop out. Replaced and screwed back on. I turned on the computer and the installation process began. Bluetooth is loaded, but none of the wireless functions are loaded. I understand that the…

Wi-Fi is damn fast now and I have Bluetooth!

Cool thing! I have an Acer Aspir 5733Z. I have an AC router, but the original wifi card in the laptop can only connect to 2.4G. Now I can connect to 5G and it's amazing! I gave it 4 stars for ease of installation because I had to use a bluetooth antenna which I bought separately as my laptop didn't originally come with one. I'd say the ease of installation is a 5 if you don't have to, a 4 if you route the antenna outside of the case, and a 3 if you decide to take apart the screen section and…

My six-year-old HP Envy 17t J100 has everything I love, including the touchscreen and backlit keyboard. But it doesn't have AC Wireless (for 5GHz) and Bluetooth. So I bought this MQUPIN card. The WiFi portion of this card worked right out of the box without installing any software, but the Bluetooth didn't work by itself. The yellow triangle icon (with error code 43) remains. Installing Intel BT_21.10.1_64_Win10 did not help. There was also no technical support from Revain. (After they talked…

It works ¡ works well for computer components

Great wifi card, I installed it on my 10 year old Sony Vaio PCG-81114L and it works great, I installed it then Windows automatically installed it searched for drivers and then i surfed, i didn't see any problems at all. Well just one thing, the driver from my old card doesn't want to go, I've tried uninstalling it but it's still there, I reboot the computer and it's still there but I don't see a problem with that new Intel driver. (My old wifi card is Atheros AR5B97)

Replaces Atheros AR5b125 (ne56r41u laptop gateway) much faster now.

I replaced an older and slower single band card (Qualcomm Atheros AR5b125 802.11b/g/n PCle) in my Gateway ne56r41u laptop and it worked without driver updates (Windows 10). Now I get full speed (I pay for 200Mbps upstream / 20Mbps upstream) and now I can finally see the 5MHz band from my router too. Note: I first tried a few more popular USB WiFi adapters without success, but the Win 10 update isn't officially supported on this laptop, so the BIOS and drivers probably prevented it from working.

It was about 30% faster than my previous 7260

The real problem was outdated Windows 10 drivers on two 4 year old Dell laptops. After getting a slightly newer version of the 7260 mini PCI card, I found the correct drivers and they worked with my old 7260 card too. However, in speed tests, this new 7260 HMW card seemed to run 30-50% faster, so I chose to keep it rather than return it. It's a network card, it fits in my laptop's slot, connects my laptop to my wifi network and doesn't seem to drop connections and I wasn't expecting more so…

    Works like a charm

I have a 7 year old Toshiba Satellite P75-A7200 that is having a problem with WiFi. This is the second time I've replaced the Wi-Fi card. Before the replacement, I found that my laptop was disconnected from the WiFi and I had to either "troubleshoot" it to fix the problem or restart it to get it to pick up the signal again. Ever since installing this new Wi-Fi card, I have never disconnected from Wi-Fi! I love my 17 inch laptop and hope it lasts for many years to come. This new Wi-Fi card…
