Got this and the accompanying shampoo as a birthday present for my boyfriend and he loves it. This shampoo does what it promises. The scent is not overpowering like many other scalp treatment shampoos I've tried. It made my hair so soft and shiny and styling was easier than ever. I didn't have a lot of hair volume to begin with so I can't tell if it helped to control the volume or not.
