I'm not a grill master but I definitely wanted to stop using a metal grill brush after I discovered wire in my burger. This wood scraper is just the ticket. I like that it has several different sides - both a flat edge and burrs that need to be scratched. In my hand is also a good size. Like it a lot!

I bought 2 of these as Father's Day gifts. I haven't given them yet, so I can't test how they work. I took them out of the packaging and examined them. They are of very good quality and feel good in the hand. They seem to be working great. I am happy to give my husband one of these so we can safely clean the grill. Wooden scrapers are much safer than wire scrapers.

I usually use metal grill scrapers for outdoor grilling, but since I've expanded my grilling arsenal (indoor ceramic grill, oven pan, etc.) I've wanted something a little more gentle on removing grease and debris, without scratching household appliances. This works great for this purpose. This is a fairly large scraper made from a solid piece of natural wood. The scraper is at one end of the tree and can be flipped over to use the other side.

As you can see in the picture, the scraper is already grooved, which I believe is intended for mounting on grids. But not all grilles have the same spacing and that was just a terrible decision for us. I can't tell how well it would or wouldn't work if the spacing is right. I tried burning the heat from the grill into the new grooves in the unit but it would take a lot longer than I would like. plug in what should just work. Seems to be finished; just not efficient.

Well it's an expensive piece of hardwood to clean a porcelain coated grate. That's $10 to $15 less than the Traeger version he's copying. The good news is that it fits on the bottom grill grate of the Traeger 575 Pro. Oddly enough, it doesn't fit on the top shelf — but that's more of a question for Treger. Overall the tool appears to be well made. My problem is with the spacing and shape of the teeth. My 20 year old Weber Genesis Gold couldn't even get close to installing the grill - the teeth had to be completely trimmed and retrimmed to fit. And the shape of the teeth is too wide to fit on a wire grill. From what I understand the spatula is designed for grilling with large diameter and spaced very specific sticks - maybe a Traeger? Whatever the cost, it's not worth going back; I'll just cut it…
