Mr Assortment Hanging Pictures Finishing Review

We needed nails to hang pictures, we had just moved so wasn't sure which ones to order here but I chose these - and so glad I did! Sturdy and different sizes are perfect!

A set of nails in a container. Decent size range. The container sealed the deal. Can't rave much more. Those are nails. People. And it was delivered to my house.

I tried to use them for a small craft but they couldn't cut into the soft wood of the frame. Then you have a pair of nails that are not even trimmed at the tips. Don't worry about that.

Upon opening the item from the plastic bag the hard plastic tab opening the box containing four sections of nails immediately broke off rendering the box unusable. The nails are fine, but the nail box is broken and unusable, so now all the nails are messed up, making it difficult to choose the right size. Complete failure at Mr. Pen. We recently moved to a location that is in need of a makeover. They were perfect for ALL needs when it comes to nails and I love the size options. I can use the small one for hanging things or the big one for more permanent projects. Easily removed with the back of the hammer if needed, as long as there is room to grab. Minimal damage upon removal.

These are cheap nails and work as advertised. Definitely not intended for anything more than drywall. They bend very easily. I've used them to hang garlands on my patio and the outside wall is pretty solid. I bent quite hard and couldn't get them all the way in. I ended up brushing my thumb a bit as one of them bent and bounced off the hammer. All in all, these are good nails. They should be easy to use. Nothing remotely heavy.

These nails hold their value and are very good value. However, it should be noted that the plastic clasp that keeps these nails in the package is surprisingly flimsy. I 100% recommend using a strip of tape to keep the package sealed tightly or alternatively put it in a more secure package that won't accidentally open. I can't imagine the stress of accidentally dropping hundreds of nails on the floor because of a lousy plastic fastener.
