🍵 Enhanced 12-Cup Replacement Carafe for Mr. Coffee Review

Just what we needed after our little one sent the original in impressively shattered condition as an offering to the gods of wood floors.

I have it in my bookmarks as my wife has already broken 3 of them. They are hard to find except on the internet. It's annoying that they're so expensive though. It's not much cheaper than just buying a new car.

Works with Mr Coffee 12 programmable cup with strong brew selection. BVMC-MMX23 in case anyone is interested. I risked it and it worked. So if you have this model, it should work too! And in terms of packaging, just like the original spare parts from Mr Coffee.

So everything looked right, arrived quickly, looked great straight away. But first I brew and BAM! A huge crack runs right through the glass behind the handle. It looked a bit odd and looks like something that shouldn't happen to the glass of a coffee pot. So I have a suspicion that it could be a fake. It was cheap and I think you get what you pay for.

Almost fits... Fits so tight that it actually snaps into place, but then clicks hard on the metal surface into the ground, otherwise it will definitely crack soon. That's probably why the old one broke. My roommate never had a lid for the old one and now I know why when you use the lid the coffee doesn't flow in properly.

Excellent carafe, doesn't spill when pouring. However, it was very expensive! There was $22 in front of the door. I could buy a brand new Mr. Coffee with a new coffee pot from Walmart for the price of this replacement carafe! The problem is that my current Mr. Kaffee is ONLY suitable for this carafe. I tried three other less expensive decanters and none of them matched my Mr. Coffee. Very frustrating. Why Mr. Does Coffee make different carafes for each coffee machine model? Marketing gimmick?

Accidentally my coffee pot Mr. Coffee slipped off the counter and fell to the ground. So I had to look for a replacement. Little did I know the 12-cup coffee pot wasn't universal in Mr. Coffee's world. I ordered what I felt was the most suitable replacement for Mr. Coffee and it was delivered quickly. I quickly realized that the pot didn't fit properly. So I have to remove the top of the jug to put it in the coffee maker. Since the lid doesn't fit, all I have to do is brew 4 cups and stick a…
