Great hat selection!

They worked very well. They were easy to install. I read so many reviews on many hood pins and decided on this one. I'm glad I did it👍👍👍

Pros
  • Air intakes and hood vents
Cons
  • Some problems

I recommend rubber spacers between the panels and the car

I have used them on both the hood and trunk of my Miata race car. I recommend rubber gaskets between the panels and the car. Gaskets are available from various online racing suppliers, but I couldn't find them at Revain. Also, ditch the screws and use the rivets on the panels for a cleaner install.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Slightly dented

as described and works very well.

They hold the bonnet very securely and the metal is strong. If you want to use these instead of the more expensive or less visible hood pins, you'll need washers, lock washers, and maybe some Loctite. Take your time during installation and measure twice or more before drilling! I plan on getting other hood pins in the future, mostly for aesthetic and safety reasons, but I'll keep them with me in case I need them because they do their job very well. .

Pros
  • Bonnet Pins
Cons
  • Non-Automatic

Worthless. Not worth a fraction of the cost

pins too short for my car (Mustang 2006). Do not confuse themes so that they can still be used). I then had to buy connector grommets and regular screws to add the length needed to get through the hood from the radiator mount. Torsion clamps suck too. They rusted constantly leaving rust/surface marks on the skid plates. Although they opened/closed fairly easily. Self-tapping screws that should be used to attach the fenders are complete nonsense. 4 heads out of 8 broke off trying to fit them…
