Don't use the cheap bolts that don't match the grade that comes with this adapter. I tightened them to the Chevrolet spec of 18 ft lbs, but they stretched and never reached 18 ft lbs. They would break if I tightened further. I bought two class 5 bolts and torqued them to spec. If these bolts fail at high speed, the engine will run out of oil within seconds.

Advert says gasket and screws are included. The packaging says it has a gasket and two screws. No padding! Wish me luck just finding the seal. Not recommended. I expect better quality control! No time to mess around with this BS!

This part was very good with one small exception. The bolts supplied with the adapter have a larger head as opposed to the smaller head GM bolts, allowing for a proper fit on the bolts during installation. Another annoyance was the lack of included torque curve. Great product and price but bolts and torque data needs updating. Many Thanks

Not a bad place to start. I will not buy Mr. Strip products from aging on the internet! Not only was it missing the gas kit, it used a really cheap metal alloy. should therefore not be used. So money down the drain and in the trash. Better than having it slow down while driving, just look for somewhere that uses real steel, aluminum, or cast iron. It's sad that many companies don't care about making a good product anymore :(

When I received this item I was initially concerned that the gasket that was supplied was missing. According to Mr. Gasket's website, the design has changed and this part no longer requires a gasket. It has an embossing built into the top of the adapter. The adapter is stamped on the cylinder block.
