Follow the directions!

Refers to the use of gas sealing tape. I don't at first. It leaked. I used duct tape and now it doesn't leak. Also, you must not exceed 8 psi inlet. This is very important! Read the instructions!

Pros
  • Includes brass fittings
Cons
  • Defective

On Edelbrock 1400 carburetors set to "5 "

Immediately solved the carb overflow problem. I have this set to 5 on my SBC 305ci with the stock mechanical fuel pump and Edelbrock Performer carburetor. Without them, my car was emitting white smoke from the tailpipes when warm that smelled like fuel. Now I don't have the problem anymore!

Pros
  • pressure adjustment from 1 to 6 lbs.
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Super fast delivery with Premiere

Bought a fuel pressure regulator for my Jonway yy250t scooter. The fuel pressure regulator appears to be well made, only took a few minutes to install, even a caveman could install it. The regulator fixed my fuel economy issues I was dealing with and now my scooter runs smoothly without the overflow issues I had before.

Pros
  • Fits 5/16" and 3/8" ID fuel lines
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Takes worthlessness to a whole new level

Totally useless. The fuel does not regulate and being a fuel regulator it is very bad. Screwing it all the way out gives the fuel pressure about 2.9psi, screwing it all the way out gives you 3.25psi. This slider ranges from 1 to 5, so it's only useful for very small changes. It's possible, and I'm suggesting here, that it will settle down and "break in" over time. If so then I will check it out.

Pros
  • Includes fittings, hoses and clamps
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Not reliable enough to rely on.

This regulator worked for about 7 hours in total. He then began reducing the fuel pressure to less than half a pound on a regular basis. It seems to happen after a warm boot. It's not a vapor barrier. I installed a second pressure gauge before the regulator to confirm. The fuel pump has a constant pressure of 9psi, but the pressure gauge behind the regulator reads next to nothing when this happens. I may have gotten a bad one, but I won't get another.

Pros
  • Not for fuel injected systems
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Check actual pressure with a pressure gauge

As others have said it works but it's not accurate. Confirm actual allowable fuel pressure rather than relying on a scale. The pump wins too much at 7.5 pounds and Weber wants to see at least 3.5. I scored 3 and got 5.5. I chose 2 and got 3. No big deal, just make sure and use the gauge to confirm. And that's some chrome for the engine bay.

Pros
  • Includes fittings, hose and clamps
Cons
  • Working speed

Chinese threads cut too deep

The NPT threads on the product I received were cut too deep. So deep that the fittings I installed from the supplied kit hit the hex shoulder of the fitting before the threads are properly tightened! And because I've already tried to assemble this thing (and destroyed the packaging trying to open it). I can't return it as used so I'll just eat my money and buy a better regulator for my application. I'll be Mr. Seal, and it's not. even "their" product. On Revain you can find the same controller…

Pros
  • No fuel injection, 9psi max inlet pressure
Cons
  • Expensive

Required for lawnmower electric fuel pump conversion

I converted the electric fuel pump on my self-propelled lawnmower but the pump was putting too much pressure on it on the carbohydrate. This controller was able to solve this problem. The regulator came with several different barbs, but I had to purchase 90* fittings for my application. The included barbs fit the unit well, but the 1/8 NPT fittings from the hardware store didn't cut much into the regulator body. I'm just going to be careful when you first start threading and make sure the…

Pros
  • Fits 5/16" and 3/8" fuel lines ID
Cons
  • Available in white only
