Works great in a 2 car garage!

I've had a Mr. Heater Big buddy for over 10 years. used in garage and hunting/camping. Worked great! Eventually it died. I got a new one and it only lasted a few months before dying. I wanted Mr. Heater but wanted a different brand. I got this by accidentally clicking on the wrong one. But i love it! Warms up the garage in 15 minutes at 32 degrees outside temperature. Garage door without sun exposure. We used it in our garden and it really takes the chill out of the air. Easy connection to a…

Throw some heat! for electric heaters

Used to heat my garage here in New Jersey. It's been under 20* for the last 2 weeks and up to 30* in the garage (the coldest I've seen). With the garage broken into and the window half open, the temperature reached 55°C in 2 hours at medium speed. Garage approx. 35x10, built of brick and concrete blocks on a slab. Honestly I think everyone should have one just in case the heat runs out (not intended for indoor use, I'll just live in my garage if that happens lol). Conducts heat a good 8ft away…

Gives off a lot of heat

I bought this to use on the porch on cool days. I've used it about 6 times when the temp was below 50 and it does exactly what I wanted it to. 4 to 5 feet from my chair, it generates plenty of heat to keep me comfortable even on medium settings. It certainly won't heat the whole room. It has an igniter so ignition without matches is quick and easy. It connects directly to a standard propane tank, but not in the way I connect to a grill. The fitting goes into the tank valve, just like adding…

Breathe fire! best among electric heaters

so i bought this thing when we go camping. Usually the fire makes us beautiful and roasts us when we face the fire, but our backs are usually frozen. So I figured it would be perfect to place behind us when we hang around the campfire to keep warm. My idea was brilliant and the product worked great. for the first 5 minutes of minutes. then it started making a kind of whining noise which I didn't really think about since it was new and I thought maybe it was just getting rid of the kinks. But…

Powerful heater!

I am a female unfamiliar with propane cylinders and found this gem extremely easy to use. Wow --- with two burners you can independently direct the heat exactly where you need it. Gives off a lot of heat. I live on the beach in Los Angeles and yesterday the 59 degree weather with wind kept us warm. I don't know why people say a burner is better! I tried the DynaGlo single burner and it was too heavy in the front and just not wide enough in the heat section. This unit is well balanced right…

What do you do for heating when the electricity goes out in the winter months? I thought I had the answer to this question when I bought a gravity powered oil stove and hooked it up to my large fuel tank that normally powers my stove. During our first 18 years of retirement here in the Poconos, power was rarely lost and then turned back on within hours. However, during Hurricane Sandy in October we had no power for ten or eleven days and some nights were COLD. I found that the gravity-fed oil…

Not pretty, but works very well.

This thing works great. I have used this specifically for extra heating when camping and/or when they have fire restrictions. It only gives off quite a bit of heat at low levels. In fact, we didn't use anything other than low since it seemed almost absurd to use anything above that. On the low end I was able to use it about 3 hours a day for 3.5 nights with a 3/4 full tank. I estimate you can go a full 4 nights on a full 20lb tank if you use both heaters. If you decide to use one I expect to…
