🔧 MR979515 Genuine OEM Factory Original Heater Control Cable for Mitsubishi Lancer Review

If you have an early 2000's Lancer or Outlander and are having a hard time turning your heater temperature on, this is the cable you need. Genuine Mitsubishi part and it fits perfectly. Make sure you also get an updated airbox reducer kit and replace it with this cable to avoid cable problems in the future.

Nothing special just a factory part but with gears it's a great replacement for the original heater control cable which bends and doesn't move when the knob is turned. Good price and shipped quickly. There was a nice DIY project for an easy fix to a common Evo 8 problem.

Worked on my 2003 Lancer OZ. The grip is still on the hard side, but it actually works now. The following mechanisms/gears have been redesigned and look different from OEM Mitsubishi parts but are sold separately. Combine revised gears with this cable and it will most likely be a lot smoother, but using this cable will work too. Not sure if it will ever stretch again but it does the job and only takes about an hour to install.
