But having gears makes it a great replacement for the original heater control cable.

Nothing special just a factory part but with gears it's a great replacement for the original heater control cable which bends and doesn't move when the knob is turned. Good price and shipped quickly. There was a nice DIY project for an easy fix to a common Evo 8 problem.
