🐷 Joie Piggy Wiggy Timer by MSC International - Mechanical 60-Minute Review

Bought used and immediately tried to use it for cooking and it took me a while to realize it wasn't working. He didn't call when the time was up. I reported this to Revane and they sent a replacement. Second in the same way. Now I found that if I set the time to less than 10 minutes it doesn't ring. It only rings when I set the time to more than 10 minutes. So basically it was a waste of money.

Works as advertised. Remember, as others have suggested, crank it all the way through and then back it up for the number of minutes you really need. This is very common on most kitchen timers and is not a design flaw on this particular model. However, I must say that it is not very loud. I can hear him well, but not when he's in another room and I'm watching TV or listening to music. It's a good idea to place it in the room where you will be spending most of your time.

I ordered this timer because it's cute. I use it for a variety of things, mainly to turn off the kid for their misbehavior and the countdown to make sure they eat lunch on time. Kids love playing with it and have dropped it on our hard floors. The pig watch even fell out of the fridge onto the same hard floor. I was so happy that the timer still worked as it should and there were no dents, scratches or cracks on the case. I will order more if needed. Now the only wish is for this company to…

I bought this product for my 3 year old who had behavior problems and was stopped a lot as a result. Her teacher told me that some kind of timer that could catch her attention so she could see when time was up would be a good idea. That's why I bought this one.
