Not good for engine

Original seal from 1978 lasts 100 times longer than this one. The material resembles plasticized rubber. Signs of cracks after less than a year.

  • 16 hole version

NOT SUITABLE for seal

I'm so angry! I go fishing without a boat because the transom seal is too big for the metal frame and the transom holes don't line up. I've ordered another one from another company who won't be here in time. A curse!

Pros
  • Suitable for OMC 313080; Sierra 18-2767; Mallory 9-72813
Cons
  • Style 90

The holes do not match the original.

Another update. This seal is torn in several places after half a season. (about 6 weeks). Not forever. I have an electric omc 800 from 1970 and a part fault requires this part number. Holes do NOT match. They don't like the metal bracket or the hull of the boat. I had to close the holes and make new ones. Who knows how long it will take now.

Pros
  • Replacement of high quality rubber compound
Cons
  • Nothing

old stock. Dirt on engine

Rubber dries and can crack. There are definitely some superficial cracks on this 'new' filling, I wonder how old it really is? Not very good on an OMC stringer with a huge transom port. Spend your extra money on something better if you can, I don't know if this thing will sink my boat. ***Update*** is preparing the boat for the 2021 season and this seal is already out of service. Probably less than 10 hours by boat.

  • Replacement # 313080 / 18-2767
Cons

Absolute garbage product! Do not buy

I ordered it a second time thinking the first one was just a fluke but no you get what you pay for the first, the two Took months, and then the boat was stored the winter, indoors. When spring came I was about to soak, but when I plugged in I noticed that the rubber at every bend on the underside had dissolved. Ruined my weekend, ordered another one, installed it correctly, first came with a new yoke inner gasket, second didn't. Now, less than 90 days later, the rubber is tearing and the only…
