Don't waste your $$$.

Exact replacement for our camper, easy installation but after 2 months it started beeping and needs replacing. I actually never used the product as intended. Replaced in July for fall camping but it broke before we even used the heater. Pretty expensive for only 2 months. We installed a real home carbon monoxide monitor.

Pros
  • While satisfied
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Test button does not work, disappointed

I have to contact Revain to contact the seller, the test button does not work, this is the second one I bought, I connected it the same way I solved the other one . It looks easy do it yourself so please let me contact the seller and help me figure it out so I don't have to return it or buy another one.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Obsolete model

The product was defective after 3 months.

I installed 2 days after receipt. The alarm clock started ringing 2 days ago. The alarm went on for 2 2 days. In the end I had to resign. Now let's start a long process and try to get the manufacturer to defend the warranty. This seems to be an ongoing issue with multiple customers and online reviews. Extremely disappointing!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Weight

I haven't died yet. So here's what

Okay so what can I say. This alarm is 2 wires and in our camper it was just 2 nuts to connect the power supply and a couple of screws to mount it where the original was. God only knows how old the one I replaced is. It doesn't look like the camper is anywhere near new! However, I changed it in no time. Pulled out a camper and didn't die - not from CO2/LP poisoning, not from bears, not from snakes, not from falling off a cliff. So overall it did exactly what I wanted it to do.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • Minor issues

Pre-test after installation! READ THIS REVIEW!

Install as close as possible to the prop guide in your RV. After installation and operation, grab a propane torch and turn on the gas without lighting the tip. Place next to the alarm clock. When operated correctly, it ignites in less than 10 seconds. Remove the propane source and reset the alarm. Turn off the propane burner! Write the date on the warning sticker when you first turn on the alarm after installation and replace it after 5 years. Propane gas leaks are on the floor, so place this…

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • I keep calm
