Poor Marine Electronics Speaker

The MTX speaker was a letdown. After trying this product, I was deeply disappointed. Although the sound quality was decent, the construction didn't meet my expectations for marine electronics. Pros
  • Good sound quality
Cons
  • Poor waterproofing and flimsy construction

So far so good for this money

I'm replacing my JL AUDIO 7.7, which has served for three good years, but the tweeters have deteriorated, plus they cost me three times more than this MTX. These MTXs sound very decent so I hope they hold up to the test and demands that JL has handled.

Pros
  • Autoelectronics
Cons
  • There are problems
