I'm replacing my JL AUDIO 7.7, which has served for three good years, but the tweeters have deteriorated, plus they cost me three times more than this MTX. These MTXs sound very decent so I hope they hold up to the test and demands that JL has handled.

Installed in my boat's gun mounts, although the front end is on my CC. I'm very happy with the sound, the base and treble sound great for a stereo amp. They're far more power hungry than the 6-inch fusion speakers in my T-top. Both work from the head stereo. I had to adjust the fader to increase the power of the MTX.
