Makes your face clear!

I mounted it on my Surly Ice Cream Truck. Installation is easy and when I put it on I almost forgot it was there. It never rattles, it's barely noticeable, and it doesn't let dirt fly into my face from under the fork. Ideal!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Negative impression

Great, but could have been a little longer.

One of the few decent front fenders to fit my Specialized Fatboy. I want the wing tail to be about 2 inches longer. Other than that, it's lightweight, doesn't move, and is easy to install/remove. I like how it follows the contour of the wheel.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Fits

Fender Hard Fender

Fender Free Hard Fender and much better design than the rear one I bought from mucky nutz. Easy to install, unobtrusive and offers solid protection in a lightweight package. I've been on some pretty rough rides and it stays in place and protects well. I haven't bothered with it since installing it. I love low maintenance.

Pros
  • Sturdy Construction
Cons
  • Seller Communication

New design and I see how it should be.

New design and I see how it should work. The problem is that it doesn't really fit the Bluto fork, despite the Mucky Nutz website claiming it does. It's cheap enough that I'm not too upset, and with a little modification it should work just fine. You will need to cut additional holes further into the fender so you can attach the Bluto fork without chafing the tire.

overpriced shit best accessories

it costs $10 so that's it. I didn't expect much. well, no less. It doesn't hold up well or doesn't have enough coverage. This can be sufficient for smaller wheels like 22 and under. Even though it was new, the duct tape look made my bike look like a ghetto/up a few steps. It looks like it's about to fall apart after only 30 miles in the woods. Already in the garbage. Save $10 and buy better wings.

Pros
  • easy to use
Cons
  • concise instructions

Mislabeled is Fat Face Fender XL

This fender fits perfectly on my Surly Wednesday hard fork. Large clearance with 3.8 inch wheels. However, when I browsed Mucky Nutz's website, I found that I had indeed received the Fat Face Fender XL. This version will not work with a suspension fork with a crossbar in front of the fork. You need to rename it properly. Otherwise it's a good wing and I'm happy to keep it. More coverage is good. Easily removed.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

Perfect for fat tires

I'm struggling with this for my Minnesota 1.2 framed fat bike as I plan to ride it all fall and into the winter snow. I wasn't sure how well it would fit as it seemed quite versatile, but it actually fits very well and weighs next to nothing. and the whole unit is very light and easy to install. Cons: I'm a little worried about my tires getting dry with snow they can't handle, but we'll see and there aren't any other cons so far.

Broke on the first ride. Don't stand for their products.

Fat bike fenders are primarily used in cold weather and have to withstand the cold. I drove for the first time after installation. Ten minutes after the first, I slipped on the ice, didn't fall, but my foot caught the wing and broke it into several pieces. The seller (Bell's Bike Shop) has replied and contacted me, but they will not endorse the product. I get a piece of plastic and not very expensive but that's why they have to support it. Chances are their replacement will cost them a dime and
