The pump works fine but will not fit in my truck without changing the line. It's bigger than the original. and didn't have the same electrical connection on it. But now it works.

Had to modify to fit the fuel pump but the pump was too big, very noisy and fuel was sloshing out of the carburettor. Lost time and can't go back as my car is waiting in the driveway for the right one to show up before I delete it. Lost $25 and 3 hours.

I was unable to use the pre-filter and screen assembly as the rubber bushing was not manufactured to match the original bracket. The hose clamps included in the kit are junk and have been removed, as has neither the 1/4" drive nor the Philips #1 or #2. The hose that came with it was too long and bent the metal bracket. I really advise against buying it.

The pump fits my 87 Camry LE exactly, the fuel tank has not yet been put back in the car as I have cleaned the bolts and other parts under the car with the tank removed. However, I have dyno tested the new pump and it works like a charm, the motor in the pump is VERY POWERFUL. I would buy another one if I ever had to. BONUS, very good price.

For 1985 Toyota 4WD P/U. My second pump. Eight months ago I bought this pump from Amazon. It worked great and the mesh filter fitted perfectly as the bottom of the pump where the filter attached was right in the center of the pump. 8 months later the pump failed. As previously mentioned the supplied filter/strainer/strainer does not fit the supplied pump. In my case I have a Honda Civic 88-91, the pump fits perfectly and matches my old strainer. The new screen appears to fit a 92-98 Honda Civic (? not sure), the mounting tab is incorrect. Carefully! If I just snap the strainer onto the best fitting one and stick it in the tank, it bangs on the side of the tank and cuts off the fuel flow significantly.
