My boyfriend and I bought electric scooters in the summer because we didn't want to ride the subway during the pandemic. We simply attached them to our scooter's handlebars and they work well as a bell to alert other riders that you're behind them. etc. Great buy.

Not very high pitched sound, persistent ringing, but good enough, especially for the money. Easy to assemble, adjustable, I like the red ones. One on my flat bar and one on my racing bike. I don't like yelling at people, I prefer a nicer ringtone.

We only needed one for a fun gift for our daughter who bought an exercise bike. She loved it so we gave her a second bike for her regular bike. The tone is polite but loud enough to get someone's attention. They are quite small so they don't take up much space on the bike.

I didn't expect much from this call. To my surprise, I really liked it. I did a solo bike ride through Wisconsin where I rode multiple bike trails. It was much nicer to ring than to warn. It's not the loudest call out there, but people have always heard it. Extremely easy installation that fits any handlebar or stem.

It's functional, loud enough, easy to install, and significantly cheaper ($2 for $9 at the time of purchase) than its closest competitors. Both of which are almost completely negated by the low cost, relative size (the base takes about 1.5 inches from the stem), and the dubious durability of the rubber strap (I could just replace it with a zip-tie).

When you press and release the lever, the lever hits the bell under the action of the spring and creates a "ding”, similar to the sound of a bell with a stem in the upper part , which you press or tap with your palm to make it "ring" to let the clerk know the customer needs help at the counter. So he doesn't actually call. Maybe you could tie a handbell to the steering wheel to make a more interesting sound.

Easy attachment to the handlebars with small, strong rubber bands. The size of the steering wheel should not confuse anyone. Nice bright chime. Like a dinner bell, but less ringing and quieter, but good for warning others in your way to get out of your way. Looks modern and minimalist. Not like grandfather's bicycle bell. My blacks. Came in two packages. There are no instructions, but if that bothers you, don't ride the bike.

I found that when the bell isn't installed it's super tight, insanely tight on the bike handlebars, too weak to even ring. Its lower part is not stable enough, it moves when you press the bell button. I really wasn't expecting too much, but more than that to be honest. I have a feeling this will be returned, I was just expecting more, even for the low price. If they're around $1.75 each I would think that's fair for what you're getting.
