The box and neat packaging make it a nice gift. The mug itself is smaller than I expected but quite durable. It's also kind of cute. I like the surface structure, it looks very traditional and elegant. Great gift for those who love tea, I'm sure my friend will love it.

Be sure to measure how many ounces this mug holds before purchasing, it's a tiny item. The box was beautiful, high quality, well made, nicely assembled and a decent size. Imagine my surprise when I opened it on Christmas day I thought it was for a dolls house. I would rather put the money into a better product than a fancy box.

It's a bit small but perfect for me as I'm a bariatric patient and still can't eat or drink much. I bought this for coffee and tea and wanted something that would keep my drink nice and hot and it works great with a lid and because it's a ceramic bowl.
