First impression - very nice packaging - will be a very good gift for any tea lover. And the mug itself appears to be cleanly and efficiently made. It has a certain weight. The reason I bought it is that ceramic brewers are easier to clean than metal brewers - tea leaves don't snag as much. While this is probably the right size for a traditional tea drinker, I drink a lot of tea so I made the same thing in 12 oz. At 9.2 ounces, it's a little lighter than I'd like. But overall a great mug, I would buy again.
