Good lenses, bad frames

My wife and I use these progressive readers and we really like them. I use 2.50 diopters and she uses 3.00. The lenses are some of the best progressive lenses I've found (at least for my eyes) and I've tried quite a few. The power transition is very smooth and I can wear them almost all the time without getting the headaches I get with others. The lenses seem to have a slight yellow tint, but it's not noticeable until I take them off. And at $10 a pair, the price is right. But the frames are…

I am happy with them, ordered 2 more sets

I received my 2 sets in September 2018, I wear them all day every day. I've ordered many other progressives but they just didn't do the job and sent them back. One pair broke in late 2020 and the other pair broke just last week. both in one place, on part of the lens barrel, one from below and one from above. I'm ordering 2 more sets today. All my glasses, prescription and store bought, always break in the same places, so I really don't think it's the Manfell. I have 25 year old bifocals I just

Update: I've had them for a few months now and unfortunately they fall the screws coming out of the side pads due to poor design details. I'm fond of glasses so this really shouldn't be happening! Original rating. They are great for me but may not be for everyone as personal needs and preferences vary. What works.
