This embroidery hoop proved to be anything but monster-sized in reality. While it does work for some Arts and Crafts projects, it's not sturdy enough to stand up to regular use. The hoops slip and shift during use, making the finished product lopsided. Though the initial price point is affordable, the constant need to replace or fix the hoop makes it an expensive choice.

Not as tight as I thought (at least the ones I've clamped) but still works great. Bought new but looks like I'm used to it as the part separating the 2 has a crack but still works. The ruler you attach to the frame is metric, not inches as shown. Knitted a large bag and did a great job of adding more bags to my to-do list. I recommend this product. I use corporate parental controls and haven't had any problems so far.

Just bought to use on my granddaughter's 5th birthday shirt. I have a Baby Lock Enterprise. The hoop is very easy to use! The magnet holds normally, not super strong. I used appliqué and the shirt moved when I had to cut the fabric. Luckily this was the first patch so I ripped it out and was able to save the shirt.
