It was excellent. Exceptionally beautiful round shape, glassy and very bright! The hue of the lights was special! As a theatergoer and film director, I'm very picky about filaments of light. These stood out! We hung them in front of the house and they were different and amazing!

The lights are exactly as advertised and match the lights on my 10 year old lighted Christmas tree. I had to buy these lights to use my Christmas tree this year as most of them are out of order. These lights don't have to be very bright, they shine beautifully. The only downside is that the cones have a very thin fragile glass. I broke one while unpacking. Great nostalgic light set.

They are really nice, although much larger than I expected - the size of a billiard ball or a little less. But very pretty. However, the so-called 'spare' bulbs that Revain says customers 'often buy' DO NOT FIT! These are screw bulbs and they didn't fit into these sockets at all. This means that you have no option to replace any of the bulbs. Unless you buy a second set just for spare bulbs. Really frustrating!

I like the way they look, we hung them on the window last Christmas. The only downside is that one literally popped - nothing hurt, we just held the strand to decide exactly where to hang it and pop it (clay and yellow glass everywhere). I was really nervous about hanging them but they were ready in a month and I think it was just bad. that goes to the other side. They do not come with replacement bulbs and a set of 10 replacement bulbs costs almost as much as the original chain.

I have had several sets of these lights which I bought from a department store about 10 years ago. We put them on the roof of the house and they were the most beautiful lights. I liked the size and color of the bulbs. We moved to another house and ended up not needing the light filaments anymore so we used them to replace lightbulbs.
