They have reverse switches so expect some frustration if you program them wrong the first time. Once programmed, you will find that the signal is not strong enough to transmit even through a closed garage door. So if you only use it INSIDE the garage, this is a good and cheap solution for you. But if you are sitting outside in the car and want the door to open, don't buy this opener.

I've been using it for less than a week and it doesn't respond well when I press the button to open the gate where I live. I have to press it several times before it responds. Very frustrating. I don't like these mini versions. I've never had a problem with the large size. I thought it was a larger size when I ordered it, but it turned out to be a mini. The last mini I had lasted less than a year and then the button broke.
