Port freight counter recovery

Like many of you, I have accumulated port freight counters. They work well and are reliable EXCEPT for cheap wires that always break. These lines are much stronger and very flexible with different tips. Now two meters are back in the rows.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

I found more about the best.

If you've been around for a while, you probably remember the extra heavy, well-made test leads from a few years ago. You are not. but they work and will work as long as the thinner, cheaper test lead can last. nothing like that is done well anymore. It's just life.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I've got quirks

They don't match my multimeters

I have two very similar very simple multimeters. These wires don't slide in easily, the end of the connector has too much plastic protrusion. I had to modify the banana plugs by making a few shortcuts to trim the plastic. It only lasted a few minutes, but I'm not sure why it came out of the box unsuitably.

Pros
  • The best in their niche
Cons
  • Unfashionable

They fit but are completely dead.

Just opened the packaging for use, the company advertised the craftsman's multimeter. Connected for the first time, absolutely no readings, reconnected my original cables and working great again. I get no response from these new wires, no resistance, no voltage. Couldn't even check the battery voltage. Waste of money, absolute junk.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Will not mate with Fluke outlet.

Bought to replace my Fluke 77. The banana clip has a larger diameter and therefore prevents it from penetrating the socket. Since I'm cheap and need cords, I cut off the sheathing to use the cord, but that makes the cord dangerous if it pops out of the socket during use. May fit other instruments but not my Fluke. You will most likely have to pay a higher price for the right leads.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Great for limited use

These test leads are of acceptable quality for the average infrequent multimeter user. However, the molded plastic at the connection point between the meter and the meter connecting cable is very brittle and can easily break internally. I feel that if the test leads were connected at 90 degrees instead of 180 degrees it would extend their life and usefulness. I would not buy this product again for my type of use.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some small things

Insulated sleeve doesn't fit Fluke 23III

What do you expect for $8. Will they work? Possibly, but they will be returned with a refund. The insulated housing does not fit FLUKE 23III 7.9mm ID. 8.8mm O.D. Lead Jacket With an 834mm (34 inch) O.D., they are not long enough for field use and are not suitable for a benchtop unit. They are not suitable for benchtop flowmeters. Mold marks on parting lines One of the two banana clips was not delivered A nose cap is loose and does not hold up Generally I try not to support the Chinese Communist

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Nothing here

No longer needed

Bought to test car amp and speaker impedance. I will say right now that I will never go back to the standard equipment that came with my Mastech 2115a. They get into hard-to-reach places and can penetrate almost any jacket. They come with protective caps but I will never use them. Maybe it would be better if they put caps on the probes. With that in mind, you have to be careful with them because they will stab you and bend over if you block them hard enough. But even for a careless person like…
