Not what I ordered!

I would like to give 0 stars but it's not an option. The one I received is not the one in the photo. I ordered this one as the connectors were where I needed them (pictured). I also thought it came with a charging cable. He's coming back because I don't need paper pulp.

Good enough for a Chromecast with enough power.

If you want to use this with Chromecast, make sure you have a power supply with enough power. A regular phone charger will not work. The Chromecast will just restart if you don't give it enough power to work alongside the hub.

Makes work one step less

I'm a teacher and I carry my laptop to and from school and home to and from work. Every day when I come home I have 7 cables connected to the keyboard, mouse, power and extra screens. This product has made my life so much easier. This hub is about 1" thick and very compact but holds so many of my cables.

Good enough for a Chromecast with enough power.

If you plan to use it with your Chromecast, make sure you have a power supply with enough headroom. A regular phone charger will not work. The Chromecast will just restart if you don't give it enough power to work alongside the hub.

Only half of these work for my setup

The hub seems to be of decent quality. Fits perfectly and tightly into the USBC port of MacBook Pro 2017. As for the features: - Playing through the auxiliary audio port when connecting the VGA cable and the Ethernet cable breaks the network connection! - Plugging in two 2.5" external hard drives works until the drives randomly disconnect. Plugging power into the hub charges the laptop (good!), but this didn't solve the problems described above.

Ok, for ONE monitor at the same time

Works very well. Maybe not the fastest hub, but reasonable speed. Very small which would be great for travel but not so good for desk use and trying to keep in one place. The only functional limitation is that I can connect two monitors (HDMI and VGA) to it, but I can only see one monitor at a time (my Dell hub at work allows me to send signals from a laptop to two monitors at the same time ). a single USB-C connection, so it's not my laptop
