🧁 Munchkin Bath Tea and Cupcake Set: Sweet Imaginative Play for Kids Review

Very cute set and my 2 year old loves cupcakes. The downside is that the cups have small holes in the bottom so they don't hold water. This frustrates my daughter and is odd to me as this is a bath set so it is clear the child will be trying to pour water into the cups and not just 'fake' it. Also, the set is great!

Cute set. However, my daughter wanted to host tea parties in the bathroom with her sister and they are not very suitable for that. The cups have holes (by design) so they cannot hold water. The tub was the only place I wanted her to actually be able to drink liquid, as opposed to how she has to pretend to have no liquid in the rest of the house. She loves tea parties, but due to their design, she doesn't use them at all.

Bought this set for our 4 year old daughter in August 2018 and it's holding up great. She has a hard time with toys, bath toys are out of the question. She smashed this set on the bathtub and bathroom floor and they held up. The colors are still as vibrant as the day we bought them. Great drainage design, but you can't open and clean the inside of the kettle. All in all a great bathroom set.

My kids have had this toy and have loved it for years, boys and girls alike. I just ordered this as a gift for someone else because she loved it so much when she came to visit. We got her for her first birthday and played with her until she was 5 years old. As an adult, I find the toy a bit odd because it has drainage holes that don't allow you to pour water into cups... but kids love it for some reason. . And there are no holes in the cupcakes, so water doesn't get in and cause mold to form…

Expensive tea set! I am going to put this in my Easter basket for my almost two year old! I know she will love the bright colors and small plates, perfect for a mother and daughter tea party while she takes a bath or just plays in the playroom! I'm probably more excited about her having this super cute set than about getting her! I will end up buying more for family members as I would say this makes a great supervised toy for little girls ages 1-2 and will keep imaginative older children…

Given the risk of bacteria growing in bath toys, their design is meaningless. The kettle has a series of small holes at the top for water to enter and there was a small bead on the inside that makes it rattle so you can pour the water out. But there's absolutely no way to clean the inside of this thing well. Also, as other people have pointed out, the teacups themselves have holes so they don't even hold water for a child to scoop. I bought this set for my 2 year old daughter to play tea with her older sister in our large children's pool this summer. We were delighted that this kit can actually be taken to the pool or bath. It's a bit small but we were fine with that and she loves it. You get a kettle and two mugs and two cupcakes.
