Great tool! for quilting

I bought a circular cutter of this size specifically to use with my circle cutting template as it makes it much easier to use. Right off the box it was comfortable to hold and easy to use. The very sharp blade cut through the 2 types of fabric I was using smoothly and easily. My only disappointment was that I didn't do it sooner!

  • So far happy

Ideal for quilting

I have 18mm, 45mm and 60mm disc knives. I used my 45mm for all fabrics. When purchased the 45mm mask template was a bit large, my 18mm mask works fine. I bought this 28mm mask stencil and it works better than the 18mm rotary cutter. I then started using 28mm to cut all my small fabrics up to 4-6 layers and worked like a 45mm. I haven't tried using it on more than 6 layers, not because I don't think it can, but because I have big cutters.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Good mid-size cold planer

I only gave this machine 4 stars because it's a bit awkward to use. I had to hold it almost perpendicular to the fabric to cut, but I liked that it can be used with either hand (I'm left-handed but can use both on this cutter). The blade stayed sharp most of my project but I had to replace it towards the end but for me that was to be expected. It's great for emergency cutting when I don't want to dig out my left-handed cutter. For general use it may be the right product. Definitely worth no…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic
