Soft oil pastels in beautiful color, easy to apply.

Very soft, easy and smooth application. The color is beautiful and bright. The only thing I don't like a bit is that the tip breaks easily because it's too soft. Nevertheless, I like using it very much.

Pros
  • Nice Touch
Cons
  • Disappear

Good first experience

I've never used a water-based oil pastel so I can't compare, but I liked the watercolor look and the effect possibilities. I run a small online art class for some of my grandchildren and have suggested these as part of their supplies and I know the kids LOVE them. We have done some lessons with them and some kids are using them in their classes. They have rich depth and mix well with water.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Good bright colors. Dirty and breaks easily.

It's interesting and the colors are bright. They work well directly on paper or on a palette. The only downside is that they get very dirty (my hands are always full of pigment) and break (and sometimes crumble) with some pressure. Even small pieces that may break off can still be used. For me, these are not disadvantages, but for some people, especially if they want to use them with children, they might not be the best choice.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
