Mine doesn't spin either and the power light doesn't stay on all the time. It flashes and pops, but the player does not spin.

Arrived with fingerprints on the plastic cover. The disc is so uneven that all the records wobble up and down terribly. General super cheap feel. Return after 24 hours.

I can't play most 45s without skipping them (towards the end). There is no tone arm tension adjustment. You may notice that the pointer moves slightly towards the center at the beginning of the recording and moves away from the center towards the end. ... It's likely that the coarse wires coming out of the back of the tonearm are preventing it from spinning freely. Most modern turntables now have a USB option and everything I've tried is better than that.

I needed a turntable to play my old records, but didn't want a large set due to space constraints and I didn't want to spend a lot. Bought for my husband last Christmas and he loved it! The sound quality is excellent; The built-in speaker sounds very loud, but it is also very easy to connect to an external radio or amplifier. Pros: Turntable works well and plays decent sound on vinyl. I haven't tried Bluetooth yet, so I can't rate it. Bad: CHEAP plastic cover with CHEAP parts. At first it didn't matter, but then one of the hinges broke! Now to play a record I have to hold the lid with one hand and with the other put the record on top, carefully insert the needle and then carefully put the lid back on.
