Good plugs suitable for spares

It took a little time to install my first plug as the instructions are not crystal clear but once I got the hang of it everything became easier. Very happy with the end product! I bought these to clean my off-road light wiring. Pins and plugs are installed into the plugs with a characteristic distinct click. They haven't been exposed to the elements yet, but I think they will.

Good alternative to more expensive types.

Excellent connectors that mate perfectly with other Deutsch connectors. I wanted to add some lights with Deutsch connectors and they matched perfectly. The pins are stamped sheet metal pins and use a 'regular' crimping tool rather than the radial crimp on machined Deutsch pins. However, these connectors cost less than two other types of pins. I used the S&G Tool Aid 18650 German Terminal Service Kit.

Cheap, inferior plastic compared to other universal connectors, not to mention the original Deutsch connectors.

Received them this winter, brought them into the house and connected the first 3. When disconnected, each tab broke off where it connects to the body, rendering the connectors useless as there is nothing to do to hold them together. One fell off clearly, the rest hung broken only at the extreme point. I didn't have the original DT connectors to test fit, but overall the molds looked good. Just poor quality plastic, not even rated for mild winter conditions.
