Solar panel fuses need to be installed. 10 gauge wire and fits perfectly. Can't tell if they work (I don't want to blow a fuse) but they are well built and match my 10 gauge crimp wire. They have been installed and are working properly on my solar panel. i would buy again

For the price I wasn't expecting much. However, when I opened the box I was very impressed with the quality. The caps are a little tricky to put on and take off, but if you want them to be watertight they need to be watertight. I would definitely buy this brand again as I was more than happy with my purchase.

This works great, in my application a really heavy load stays cold. it was exactly what i was looking for. I made the mistake of buying a cheaper version of this from Walmart only to find it dangerously hot at 15 amps after only 15 minutes. Changed to this, no complaints.

Socket connections in fuse holder are tighter than perfect. Of course, they must be tight enough to ensure a good electrical connection with the plugs on the fuse, but the fuse must be pulled out without too much force. A slight loosening with a small flat head screwdriver can be used for a tight but loose fit.

I am very impressed with the 10ga 40amp fuse holders. Other reviewers thought the wiring might be aluminum, but I have what appears to be tinned copper strands. This is a very high quality wire type with excellent corrosion resistance normally only found in marine grade products. The tinned copper also makes soldering easier, so I made sure the wiring wasn't aluminum. I like them so much that I will be ordering some spares for future projects.

Excellent quality fuse holder. I've used them to protect a couple of e-bikes that I've upgraded from 36v to 48v on a 32a draw. The wire type and size is good quality. I was able to solder them onto my off-road bikes and immediately knew they were well made. The fuse holders have a snap-on lid that appears solid, not sure if it's waterproof but very close. In the photos I posted the fuses are not fully seated, once pressed the fuse is very tight. I am very happy with the purchase.

I used them to protect a wiring project in my van by connecting two batteries to two separate 12v power outlets which gave me a choice of which battery to use to power the fridge/freezer should use 12V. They go well with the 10 gauge wire I also bought from Revain (https://amzn.to/35kN6Ti). In case you didn't know, these built-in fuse holders should be placed as close to the battery as possible.
