Very happy with the product. Bought to bypass the reverse switch on my truck's transmission (has an internal versus external switch). I especially liked that it has a pluggable wiring harness instead of static wires. Makes it easy to remove my dashboard without tethering to a hardwired component. Comment trying to explain how to wire this up and I've tried but it didn't work. I finally stopped looking at the colors and went through the picture in the description to knit what I needed. The backlight is always on, pressing the button turns off the device. After that, the colors of my trailer: White: were not used. Green: to the positive wire on the device. I have a Voswitch programmable panel on my truck. It can be set to either manual ignition on/off or automatic ignition on/off, but does not support both at the same time. I wanted an automatic on-off ignition with the ability to turn it on when the truck is off, so I made this switch to connect to the ignition switch trigger wire on the Voswitch.
