Terrible product, best building material

Very difficult to install. Very tight fit. I had to tap on each spindle. It is very difficult to align the rails. I have a 35 degree angle and this product makes rail assembly extremely difficult.

Pros
  • Tools and housewares
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes

The listing is misleading. I assumed they came in pairs and figured when I ordered a pack of 50 that would make 50 spindles. Only 25 will be installed so I'm delaying completion for a few days now as I wait for another batch. The listing should make this point clearer.

Use a socket wrench!

Works well only with shelves from this company. I would not recommend using them with anyone else's balustrades. They also place very high demands on the screw tightening. If you tighten a little too much, they'll just snap. Use a socket wrench for best results. Also, the supplied screws are much longer than necessary. I recommend replacing them with shorter screws.

I saw these and decided to try them as it turned out to be easier. To be honest I don't think they ever saved me. Your location must be perfect. It's hard to get them all the way down. The fit of the balusters on these adapters is too tight. I had to use ratchet straps to hold the rails together. Then they were pounded into a fully seated position with a…
