Whether this case gets 1 star or 5 stars depends on how you use it. I keep it in my breast pocket every waking minute to keep my glasses handy. Bought black and love it for my reading glasses but you know those loops stop working after a while so I bought another one as a spare. I had to glue the top lining because it came off in both cases. There is a small gap even when closed, but it doesn't bother me that much, it makes opening easier. Also, it doesn't take up much room in my purse and is protected from all the other stuff I have in it.

I use this case for my magnetic clip-one and while it's a bit large and could be a bit thinner, it's not too bulky to fit in my pocket. I used a small flat case from Costco but they don't make them anymore. Metal springs break over time, so time will tell how long these springs last. In general, it is suitable for my purposes.

I have been buying these covers for years. However, I received something completely different with my last order and I am not satisfied. The suitcase is now much larger than the small suitcase I had before and it doesn't have a small lip to help open the suitcase. They are not at all like the picture. Unfortunately, I ordered several and am now stuck with them.

Bought for my husband's magnetized sun visor. The box the umbrella came in was larger and damaged from wear and tear. This one has a slim body and looks more robust. I chose black inside and out. It lasted 20 months (4 months less than 2 years). Due to frequent opening/closing, the hinges always die first. $10.95 for 20 months = $0.54 per month. I think it's still a good price for glasses/curtains that cost over $200 and are hard to come by.

I usually worry if the case is too hard or difficult to open. No one likes having a finger or part of it caught when trying to properly remove or take off their glasses. I won't lie, this case will grab you if you're not careful. Also, I'm really happy with how roomy this bag is without being bulky. This is a very durable glasses case that can be sat on and dropped without damage. The case closes securely thanks to very strong hinges. These hinges are so strong that the glasses case cannot be opened easily. In addition, the case closes with considerable force. If you leave your finger in the case while closing, the result can be VERY painful. But if you're looking for great protection for your glasses, you won't find better protection.

The shape of these cases is great for small glasses (read: rimless) and fits almost anywhere. The shell is durable and protective. But the lining comes off after a few months of short term use. The glue is just bad. The detached liner then "pops" the lightweight glasses out of the case when you open it.
