My kids love these. You're into art and the narrow tip seems to come in handy. They also like the on/off switch so they don't have to unplug it every time. As a parent, I appreciate a light that tells you when it's on because they don't always remember the switch!

Okay, I love this glue gun, I mean I love it. but the string on this thing can't be longer than a ruler! So if you order it I suggest you do it because it works like a miracle, just bring a cheap extension cord! I took off one star because of the lanyard, but I would definitely order this gun again and again!

It didn't heat very long. The sticks are smaller so if you think you're going to use a lot of glue I'd buy extra just in case. I was able to glue popsicle sticks together for some cheap geometric shelves and the glue held up pretty well.

Mrmkay…. I understand that this thing is small.... but really?! And the cord? I mean really, really?! I don't need an extension cord to use this glue gun. The cord is less than two feet long, meaning it barely reaches from the outlet to my desk. And the gun itself? The glue splatters and splatters. It doesn't even flow like a regular glue gun. This is for kids and crafts; not adults who have to do something. It's garbage.

If your project just needs a few drops of hot glue then this article is for you. However, if you want to apply a permanent layer of hot glue, look elsewhere. The mechanism in this glue gun does not apply consistent pressure to the glue stick, causing the hot glue to flow out in small, sporadic spurts. My project was to glue something to the bottom of a four inch diameter paper cup, so it doesn't take much. The gun was thrown away after the first use and I will look for a better option.
