smooth and fine:

These picks are easy to use and very easy to write on. I love writing with color as it brings something special to each letter. Colors are bright and vibrant. They are thin and easy to hold, the tips are smooth and round with very nice transitions. I ordered these pens when I ordered my new planner and they go together very well, the pens don't bleed or smudge like other pens and the fact that there are many colors allows me to coordinate things happening in my family happen. like apps and…

Breaks easily, not worth the money

Nice colors that don't smear or run most of the time but the tips break easy. One split on the first day of use, another after a few weeks. Now I have to buy another pack of a different brand as I need several of the same pens in different colors. Too bad they don't last. Close-up views show dark blue (heavily split) and light blue (beginning of delamination) peaks. You can see the thicker and doubled lines drawing the split ends versus the purple tip that is still intact. You can also notice…

Pros
  • Specially used by Architecutre, AD, Comics (manga) and animation designers for line art and signatures

Great Value

These are high quality fine line permanent markers for art projects, marking and general use in the home or office. They are longer than the US standard size, measuring 6 1/4" instead of the usual 5 1/4" or so (of a regular fine-tipped pen or marker of the same model). If you have large/long arms or fingers they will work even better for you, but the extra length doesn't detract from usability with medium-sized hands. The color is true to life, the ink spreads well and does not spread. The…

This is not a 0.4mm thin liner pen.

Good markings but definitely not 0.4mm. There is absolutely no way. I have attached a picture comparing these pens to other pens with similar tips. .3 is Pentel Arts Hybrid Technica .3mm by Pentel, .7 is Lamy Rollerball and .38 is Pilot G-2. As I said, these are definitely not 0.4mm markers. They're probably closer, between 0.5 and 0.7. I was disappointed with this because I needed a really fine stylus to write in a tiny notepad. Also, dark blue is purple. UPDATE: A few days after this review…

The tips are easily damaged and the lettering is fading

I liked them at first but there were two big problems with them. Don't carefully cap the pen each time, you risk splitting the felt tip in two, causing double lines when writing. I messed up 2 of them this way - easy to do because you often end up capping them as they are like markers and you don't want them to dry out when the cap is uncapped. 2) Labeling of some materials disappears. . I wrote something on the wall calendar with a pink pen about 2 weeks ago and just walked past it today and…
