No, not a good buy.

The zippers only work intermittently and the smell of the bag is so strong I fear something will die inside. I also don't know if my cat is just big or just small, but I can't imagine being comfortable in it for a long time.

My cat loves this backpack!

My cat loves her backpack. She willingly enters! She hates climbing in the box but loves it very much. It weighs 10 pounds and fits perfectly. I think a big cat would be tight. My only complaints are that I would like the bottom padding to be Velcro secured as it moves a bit and the zippers can be difficult to tighten. But overall I like my purchase and I would buy it again.

Best for Kittens - Backpacks

Cute and my kitten loves it. She rides in it while I walk my dog and drive the car. Psa for those who have another cat. My cat was 1.5 pounds and she was the smallest of the litter. And my dog is now about 17 months old. Both were rescued and adapted to each other. If she was bigger or older this bag would be a waste of money. So if you have a kitten and can acclimatize your pet early, take a bag with you. Our new cat loves it and jumps in it too when she wants to go for a walk.
