Great price, small package, great sound

I installed this in my SCS, connected stereo audio to the boss. The amplifier is small and easy to install in a small space. It will take some time to fine-tune, but I am very happy with the price and the product.

Pros
  • Amplifier
Cons
  • There are nuances

Fantastic little amp for car electronics

I have used it to power my 10" R2D4 Rockford Fosgate subwoofer in my Polaris Rzr 1000 (under dash). No problems so far. It has didn't let me down after the first 100 miles on the trails. The bass boost knob is good too.

Pros
  • Mono amp
Cons
  • Legacy model

Underpowered and keeps burning out

Was hooked up to a modest 10" 200W subwoofer. A few months later it blew, there is a guarantee, after another 5 months it blew again. then it never works again. The second sign this is a garbage amp is the size of the power cord is 14 gauge and the speaker wire is utter nonsense. I've replaced it with a 300w Clarion which is better in every way.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Amazing little amp: Amplifier

I used it to power my 10" R2D4 Rockford Fosgate subwoofer in my Polaris Rzr 1000 (under dash). So far no problems. It didn't let me down after the first 100 miles of trails. It's also nice to have a bass boost control.

Underpowered and keeps burning out

Hooked up to this humble 10" 200W subwoofer. A few months later it blew up, came under warranty, another 5 months later it blew up again . The circuit board fuse blew and never worked again. Complete joke. I replaced it with a 300w Clarion which is better in every way.

Pros
  • Car Electronics
Cons
  • Basically OK, but...

Hide it in your jeep!

I installed it in the dashboard of my Jeep Wrangler JK. It hides perfectly behind/under the glove box. I have a non-original stereo system (Alpine iLX-W650) and I replaced the 1 ohm dual voice coil (DVC) subwoofer that comes with Alpine's factory "premium" audio system with a 2 ohm flat mount DVC subwoofer (Pioneer TS) replaced. -SW2002D2) which has much better clarity and response. This amp puts some much-needed power back to the subwoofer, as I've halved it by doubling the voice coil…

Pros
  • Car Audio
Cons
