Nalgene Wide Mouth Rectangular Bottle: A Versatile and Convenient Hydration Solution Review

I needed something smaller to pack my elementary school lunch and it fitted the bill. It is perfect for the PB Coldpack Lunchbox with Bentgo. So happy I found something smaller and reusable. Now the baby doesn't have to take an extra large bottle, only for lunch. Will buy more.

Product works great - no leaks. The reason I give it 1 star is because the cap looks just like any other disposable cap and after a week got lost in the trash and now the bottle is unusable. Nalgene please cast the cap in colored resin or better yet add a string to attach it to the bottle. Many Thanks.

I bought some of these to keep in my backpack while hiking with hydrogen peroxide and alcohol in case I get too far and get bits of meat and the like. The lids actually seal pretty well on the container and I haven't noticed any leakage when inverting and squeezing the case, although I don't fill them all the way.

Great. Once a week I have a weird volunteer job that doesn't allow me to carry water. But I have severe kidney disease and have to drink frequently. So I have 3 of them, I look through them during the day and hide them in my jacket. This allows me to moisturize my skin quickly and discreetly. And since they are Nalgen, they are of excellent quality and excellent quality.

We have four children and have been using them in PlanetBox Rover lunch boxes daily for over a year and they are fantastic! Completely leakproof. Somehow they close very tightly, but it is not difficult for our preschooler to open them. They don't feel insulated, but they feel thick and sturdy. We mainly use them for water, but occasionally milk and juice - there's no aftertaste. We put the bottles and caps on the top shelf of the dishwasher. Highly recommended!

Love these bottles. I was very pleasantly surprised at how far 4 ounces of milk went. That's why I bought it to take milk with me when I could easily get coffee, but I knew only powdered cream would be available. The wide opening made from a cardboard box for easy pouring seemed easier too. I have another, round one, for sugar that I add to hot dishes or cereal and sometimes coffee. The bottles don't look flimsy. I plan on keeping them for a long time and they seem to last a long time.

I originally bought this 8 ounce bottle as a cereal bottle so I could chew on cereal whenever I wanted. 8 ounces is a good serving of granola for me, and the rest of the bottle is sized to fit in a laptop bag or backpack. I could just pour straight from the bottle into my mouth, much better than pouring into my hand or reaching into a plastic bag.
