Review on Nalgene Wide Mouth Rectangular Bottle: A Versatile and Convenient Hydration Solution by Kevin Ayala

I originally bought this 8 ounce bottle as a cereal bottle so I could chew on cereal whenever I wanted. 8 ounces is a good serving of granola for me, and the rest of the bottle is sized to fit in a laptop bag or backpack. I could just pour straight from the bottle into my mouth, much better than pouring into my hand or reaching into a plastic bag. However, as it turns out, the inside diameter of the spout is about 1.1 inches, which isn't much. too narrow for my purposes. Flakes - Life and Raisin Bran - don't really get enough sleep. Also, 8oz is good, but I need a little more room for the flakes to flow as I chew, so I went with its 16oz brother instead, which works much better for this purpose. However, it's great for small snacks like nuts , bites and little puffs and tongs Same concept - if you're on the road and don't want to get smoky almond dust on your steering wheel, chug straight out of the bottle Rectangular profile holds up well and is durable High density polyethylene ensures it takes a tumble with ease survives.The lid is tight enough that I figured you could store dry snacks here for a year and find them fresh enough. The only reason this gets four stars instead of five is the diameter of the spout - if you're just storing liquids or powders here you can probably bump the rating up to five. So I recommend it as a hip flask for snacks.
