Sturdy single-walled bottle

Very strong, single-walled bottle with straight walls. That's exactly what I wanted. Nest well in a GSI Outdoors Glacier 24oz stainless steel jar. 710ml

  • Easy to use

Buyer warning! This is a cone shaped bottle and.

Attention buyers! This is a cone shaped bottle, not the standard straight sided Nalgen. This listing is another mislabeled product on Amazon that has disappointed many people.

It wasn't conical!πŸ˜–πŸ˜–πŸ˜–πŸ˜–

It wasn't conical!πŸ˜–πŸ˜–. I specifically ordered this one because I wanted a cone that I didn't get. The item pictured was tapered but I received a straight wall mounted item. Will not fit in a cup holder in the car! I read reviews of people complaining about it being tapered so I decided to order. So stop by again. The photo was rejuvenated and the reviews complained because they were rejuvenated! This is an issue with Revain and third parties. To say I was "angry" is an understatement.

Make sure you know what you are buying!

I've been waiting months for their direct version to come out. When they do, they sell quickly because they're built to exact Nalgene Plastic 32 oz specifications. Shown is a guyot design which tapers towards the bottom and does not fit perfectly with cups. With that being said I bought 2 bottles of the straight version. These are the best water bottles I have. They are a lot thicker than Klean Kanteens (I have 27oz and 64oz). These Nalgene are heavier but much more durable for heavy fire use…

The picture does not match the actual bottle you will receive!

As mentioned in other reviews, BUYER ATTENTION! These are 36 oz Nalgene cone bottom bottles (measured), not 38 oz straight boulders as pictured and advertised. In my opinion this is false advertising bordering on fraud! Oddly enough, I received a 2-pack, even though everything I read didn't mention it was a 2-pack. So I think I got a good deal, but it's still not what I wanted or bought! I specifically wanted a wider base to stand next to a fire on uneven ground, as well as a better nest shape…

Well built. ideal for camping or 72 hours. Kit

My research on single wall stainless steel water bottles led me to the 38 ounce Nalgene bottle as the best choice for my needs. When mine arrived I was skeptical that it was a 38oz bottle as it looked a little smaller than I expected. However, I measured the volume and it corresponds to the description. Mine is built like a tank and when full and turned upside down it doesn't leak. As far as I can tell there are no broken seams. I filled it with cold water and got cold, then I rinsed it with…

Things you didn't think Nalgene did.

I've been waiting a while to get this stainless steel bottle from Nalgene. Fits perfectly in my $5.00 Ozark Trail Cup, you know who's in camping gear. Took the lid off a Stanley kitchen set and packed everything in a Nalgene military case. BAM instant cooking, charcoal cooking, hot water. A bottle for her on cold camp nights. Great for rolling dough for those things they like to cook in the field (Bannock lol. I definitely haven't seen anyone show you this trick yet), or if you insist on being…

Not disappointed but definitely needs cleaning

You always need to clean new containers, and this one is no exception. Like many reviewers, I was trying to decide between this and the 40 oz Kleen Kanteen. The price is more in line with the Kleen Kanteen, but when the Nalgene was a dollar off I decided to stop there. I'm glad I read some of the reviews describing the metallic smell and internal weld. A little sandpaper fixed the seam and a large amount of vinegar got rid of the odor. And I mean A LOT. It is not the metal itself that causes…

Standard Stainless Steel Nalgene Bottle 38 ounces -

Let me start by being long and thorough about the differences between a 40 ounce Klean Kanteen bottle and this 38 ounce Nalgene bottle to think. My kit is built on a Maxpedition 10 x 4 bottle cage, so the bottle had to match all the other "things". KK is advertised as 9.9 inches and Nalgene as 8.5 inches. Nalgene won because of his size. I was most concerned about all the negative reviews about the dirty weld under the upper shoulder, but I figured I could "fix" this defect, so I pulled the…
