Straps are easy to undo

I love the feel, weight and comfort of this pack, but I find myself tightening the straps all the time when I run. Together with the loose straps, the chest straps move almost freely. The backpack is brand new and I've probably only used it for about 30 miles. I know I can tie a few knots in my straps to keep them in place, but with a well known brand and the price I'm paying, I wish I didn't have to.

Works like an accessory champion

I use it for my long runs (up to a half marathon). Does not leak, does not rub and stays in place with easy access to the mouthpiece. I also like the font pockets because they are accessible. When ordering I was a bit worried that it would fit tight on the chest, but that's not a problem at all. I highly recommend letting all the air out when you fill your bladder to reduce sloshing noise. However, if you have noise-cancelling headphones, this might not be an issue. Great moisture pack!

Bite valve broken

WARNING: I have been using Nathan vests for many years and have never had a problem so I bought a Nathan when I needed a new one. The vest I received has a defective bite valve. Instead of returning the item to Revain I contacted customer service and they showed no interest in helping me. I asked for a bite valve replacement and my request was denied. Instead of going through the return process, I decided to replace the bite valve at my own expense. For this reason I give the article the stars.

Potential to be great

I love the Nathan QuickStart 6L Hydration Pack. I am very well designed for comfort and running. The backpack itself has a few nice features: a zippered front pocket and space for a water bottle. There are also two zipped compartments for small items on the back. One compartment has a key holder. The vest is easily adjustable and fits comfortably. It wobbles or jumps a bit when I use it for running. Bladder access is convenient and easy to attach with two wide Velcro straps. My only issue withโ€ฆ
