Great fit minimalistic vest

The fit of this vest is amazing, very soft shirt-like material (but much stronger). The vest has a simple, functional design with the ability to place a bottle in the front/bib and bladder sleeve in the back. Side (underarm) stretch pockets are good in theory, but hard to reach, so not very useful. I also didn't like the Velcro straps on the front pockets that snag soft materials. I liked the fit but the vest ended up being too short for my needs.

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • thin

AMAZING on hydration packs

EXCELLENT product. I did my research so you don't have to. On my 51st birthday I was running 51 miles and needed a reasonably good source of fluids. The surprise of this vest is that it has all the little storage spaces that you can use to store almost anything you need. This vest is flexible enough to add a bladder, which I did, or just use the included soft bottle for a much shorter run. Fits snug so you don't feel like it's bouncing. Well done. Don't buy cheap if you're seriously concerned…

The best of the 6 packs I tried.

I tried 3 different packs of Nathan and 3 packs of Salomon to see which one suits me best. I keep coming back to it. Best in my opinion for storage, pocket accessibility, bottle design and fit. If you prefer a tank over front mount bottles I would recommend the Nathan Vapor Air 2.0 4L. It was second place, but I prefer pistons to bubbles. The Salomon packs actually fit a bit better, but they had an inferior bottle design and the cargo bounced around in the pockets, which was an annoyance I…

Great backpack without bouncing

This backpack was light and had a lot of storage space. Unlike the vape zipper, I found the straw loops to be large enough to easily slide bottles in and out and get them to my mouth while strapped in place with no kinks. The waterproof phone case is a great and quite comfortable place for my large Galaxy S9+ when you turn the soft back of the bottle inside out. The material isn't too stretchy, but it stretches enough after tearing that I had to scale it down. My chest is about 38.5 inches at…

Slightly disappointed

The product arrived on time. I ordered medium as all the comments said the size chart was wrong. Wednesday was too hard. Follow the chart. I had to go back and order a bigger one. Fits much better. This is one of the more expensive vests and I thought the quality would be better. It came with one of the vest buckles installed backwards. It was sewn in such a way that there was nothing to do but cut the cord and turn the clasp. I've ridden them a few hundred miles and a few of them are falling…

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Not satisfied with everything

It's not worth it! Don't stop jumping!

This vest showed promise and promise and everything immediately looked great. Pleasant fabric, great design. Unfortunately, it all ends here. Firstly, although I used the size chart provided and got my measurements, I think it's just too big. I kept dressing until I couldn't dress anymore. The bottles have some original struts that keep them upright and prevent them from falling, but I've never had a vest with such a strong rebound. The bottles release air, which causes an annoying squeaking…

Didn't work with my tall arm swing

Probably should have thought about it before buying but I've never seen any negative reviews about it. I keep my arms high and close to my body as I swing my arms. My fists cross lightly on my chest next to my pecs, right where the bottles are. It just didn't work and I didn't want to adapt the mechanics to the gear. It was great as it wasn't bouncing and comfortable so I bought a 1.5 liter chamber to try without bottles but disappointed as I liked the concept of two bottles up front. But the…

Insanely small

Update: L back to size XL. I have to say if you are an adult this vest is not for you. When the 11-year-old gets home today we can try it on, but I think Nathan may have forgotten that the vast majority of ultramarathoners aren't 5ft 2in, 110 tall. It's sad because the fabric and the feel make me think. It would be comfortable and functional if only it fit. But the reality is that it's not good for an endurance athlete if it's so tight you can't breathe in it. Which really makes me shake my…

Great but there are a few things to consider

Great product and I would recommend. A few notes: * You may find comments complaining about the 2 small straps holding the water hoses, saying they are brittle and broken. That is absolutely right. As soon as I received the item I looked at it and it's clearly a weak point judging by the stitching. Solution: I just put a couple of paperclips on each side to secure them. Without them, it will undoubtedly break at some point.* So many pockets! I can't even count them, you definitely won't miss…
