Disappointing Gemstone Dig Kit - Save your money!

My analysis of this product showed that it was not worth the price. The dig kit did not contain enough gems, and those that were included were of poor quality. The digging tool was flimsy and difficult to use. On the plus side, the instruction booklet was informative. Overall, I would not recommend this product.

Pros
  • Informative instruction booklet
Cons
  • Lack of gems, poor quality, flimsy tool

Buy the Big Set

Looking for educational toys stuck at home. I didn't know if my kids would be interested. But it was a lot of fun. He was smaller than I thought. This is about a 3 inch piece of clay. But my boys loved it. They kept digging even after we found 3 rocks. They enjoyed hearing the information in the book that came with it. an activity that a 5-year-old can work on independently. I would strongly recommend purchasing a larger set.

Pros
  • Educational Adventures: Identify and learn about each site with the full-color National Geographic Study Guide
Cons
  • Dear

Good exercise in endurance and the kids loved it

years old. Both found the stones quite quickly and were not unsettled. Well, my four year old was starting to get a little frustrated as the older one got through quicker, but it's good practice to be persistent. They could make it themselves and liked the stones. There were no marks on one tiger's eye, it might have looked like a broken piece, but my kids liked it and that's the main thing.

Pros
  • Excitement and Discovery: Children discover dazzling amethysts, quartz and tiger's eye gemstones to add to their gem collection
Cons
  • Available in white only
