This item arrived as pictured, it was not finished in brushed nickel as described. Had to use it to keep it in place, worked great, just didn't fit

The description says it will fit the door with a gap of up to 2 inches. This stop doesn't fit. Its height is only 1 1/4 inches. A 2 inch door gap goes directly above it. Was durable and perfect color. It just wasn't big enough.

Sturdy hardware and I think floor stops work better than other types of doorstops. (One downside is the bulge on the floor. Considering that, they look good.) Be sure to measure the space under your door where you want the stop to go; This stop will engage the door no more than 1 inch (overall height is approximately 1-1/4 inches).

Anyone who hangs a mirror on the wall that the door opens onto should have a good doorstop. We looked at a few doorstops, but we needed at least four inches of clearance. It can be placed where it is needed to save space, is easy to clean and easy to assemble. You will need a drill to install and follow the instructions.

I bought (2) of these for a bathroom renovation as we are finally removing the brass and going to brushed nickel. They replace old, worn brass plugs from the same manufacturer. One of the stoppers was in excellent condition but the other has 2 scratches on the back. Unfortunately we needed them ASAP so there is no time to return the scratched one for a replacement. Hopefully a little mix will suffice.
