Enhanced National Hardware N301 598 4075BC Expanded: Optimized for Ultimate Performance Review

This item is great I burn all my mail and need this for the top of a 50 gallon keg that is used for burning but hate hot coals flying around. It contained the ashes and kept everything inside. I put on leather gloves to remove it, but surprisingly it wasn't very hot.

I know this is an unusual application but I wanted a piece of metal mesh to underlie the material I was cutting with my diode laser and it did works great. It's smooth, beautiful and strong. An added benefit is that since the rust is magnetic I can use my heavy duty magnets to hold the material in place and smooth out easily warped wood.

I bought one of these to replace a custom fire grate that had rusted. It was mentioned in the Questions and Answers section that they were not treated to allow them to rust. I took some Rust-Oleum black high-temp spray paint, trimmed it (I used bolt cutters, easy) and applied a nice double coat. It worked so we will, I bought 2 more and replaced the grills in my other 2 fire pits. If my BBQ grill or smoker grates start to fail I will definitely be replacing them with these (baked in oil instead
