This yarn really helps. If you can believe it, I think it cleans better than any regular floss I've ever used. Very durable and resistant to abrasion or breakage in the heat of activity. Only suggestion for improvement would be to thread the cutting tool in and out a little more easily at the top. I have to scratch it with my fingernail to pull the end of the thread out. I recommend overall and don't see us switching to another brand.

I agree with another reviewer that it tears fairly easily, but for me it's serviceable. The real test will be whether or not it gets composted in the backyard. It's disappointing that it comes in a plastic wrap from the manufacturer, which somewhat goes against my goal of reducing plastic use. Also, Revane sent it in a large plastic envelope with bubble wrap. Maybe I'd be better off buying plastic floss at my local grocery store. In fact, less plastic can be used overall than when purchased.

I find unwaxed woven dental floss the best for cleaning my teeth. The one I used in the market was no longer available, not even online. Couldn't find anything similar until I ordered and received the Boss Silk Thread! I have a higher degree of purity with this yarn. Highly recommended.

I bought this because it seemed to be the only thread on the market that was described as woven. And while it may actually be woven, it is very flimsy and usually breaks 2 or 3 times in one flossing session, which is expensive. I really wanted to love this thread. I've been looking for a woven thread since the thread I'm using was discontinued. I love that they use natural products and are very eco friendly, but unflossing is like pulling teeth. Just not a good product. I will not buy again.

The packaging makes this thread so difficult to use. I used to love Listerine floss (by J&J) which is billed as gentle on gums but since they sold Reach they stopped making it and couldn't find anything that compares.
